Ford AOD 4 speed automatic transmission for sale. Came out from a 86 Mercury Grand Marquis V8 5.0 that had 75.000 miles.
Good for replacing old 3 speed transmission behind any ford small block engine ( early Mustangs /Cougars, Ford trucks /pick ups, Fords/ Mercurys/Lincolns etc) if you want better fuel economy and lower RPM at higher speed on highways.
This is the early version of AOD's so it is operated by TV cable.
The transmission is complete and goes with flexplate +converter +cooling lines that goes to radiator.
I am selling the transmission as condition unknown because I did not see the car running. I was told it is in good working condition.
